Enrolment forms for children in Year 3 of Lower School who wish to make their First Holy Communion next year are now available from the sacristy. Please return to the presbytery as soon as possible. Classes begin on Saturday 9th November at 9.15am in the Guild Room at St Joseph’s church. All children making their First Holy Communion next year must attend the classes. There will be a talk to parents on Wednesday 16th October at 7.15pm in the Guild Room.

A parish pilgrimage to Rome is being organised for October 2014, led by Fr Michael with the help of Pax Travel. It promises to be a memorable and enjoyable pilgrimage to the eternal city, walking in the footsteps of Saints Peter & Paul. As well as visiting various ancient holy sites, there will be an opportunity to see and hear Pope Francis at his weekly general audience – and we will also be enjoying Roman culture & cuisine! The pilgrimage will run from Sunday 12th October until Thursday 16th October 2014, at a cost of £649 (plus single supplement if applicable). A presentation evening will take place on Thursday 5th September. Please take a leaflet from the back of Church if you are interested, or contact Fr Michael.
