Jean Petts, a long-serving member of the parish as housekeeper to the priests over many years, celebrated her 80th birthday on 1st January 2019.
There was Mass for her intentions, followed by a tea party in the Guild Room with invited parishioners.
An update from EVC Uganda
EVC Uganda is a charity that was born from our parish here at St Joseph’s as a result of the visits of Fr Boniface from Uganda. The charity was set up to support his work helping and providing an education for the poor orphaned children in Uganda.

Adoremus 2018 Liverpool
The Eucharistic Congress and Pilgrimage was held in Liverpool on 7th, 8th and 9th September.
Our weekend started with an interesting talk by Canon Mervyn Tower from Corpus Christi Oxford.

Every year at St Joseph’s we have a Parish Project, aiming to raise funds for a worthwhile cause. Year of Prayer and Vocation 2017-2018
At the start of Advent 2017, Bishop Peter launched a Year of Prayer and Vocation, hoping to make us aware of our vocation as disciples of Jesus and to deepen our friendship with Him.
